What is the Chinese Dragons Club?
Beginning in early 2018, just in time for Chinese New Year, the Chinese Dragons Club provides children with an essential exposure to Chinese culture through engaging activities and the use of Mandarin Chinese language.
Aimed at helping students aged 4-8 learn about China through fun and play, the club includes gifts from China for all students.
No previous language experience is required.
Chinese Dragons Club sessions are a fun way to connect students with Chinese culture. Activities include
Tai chi movements, calligraphy writing, Chinese storytelling, oriental instruments, kung fu, toy dumplings, kite flying, paper cutting, Chinese knots, and much more.

The Chinese Dragons Club will run at various London schools and will be co-ordinated by our team of experienced Dragons in Europe teachers. Each teacher that we provide is legally allowed to teach in the UK, undertaken all safeguarding training and are DBS checked.
The Chinese Dragons Club runs during after school hours, 1 hour per week, for a whole term.
The cost is £10 per student per session. The maximum number of students in each club is 15.
The children have learnt to say hello, goodbye and thank you, as well as how to use chopsticks. It’s a great way of celebrating Chinese New Year and also takes the sting out of learning Chinese!

The boys’ interest and enthusiasm was evident from the smiles and eager chatter as they left their sessions
Our students were mixed ages, always a difficult audience, but they were thoroughly engrossed and interested in the fast-paced varied activities. The session was informative and very memorable and the students still remember words they learnt!
All the kids came out of school really enthused – in fact never seen them so enthusiastic after school! And full of interesting facts!
